To join the Rent Rewards loyalty programme, simply register or log in on the Rentcars app or website. Cashback amounts will be displayed in a highlighted yellow field when you access the platform to choose a car. After booking, using, and returning the vehicle, the rental company will confirm your rental with us, and the cashback will be made available for use on your next booking. Rentcars reserves the right to determine whether the booking is eligible for the generation and application of credits.
When you confirm a booking on the Rentcars website, your credit will appear with the status “Pending” in your statement, awaiting the completion of your rental and confirmation by the rental company to Rentcars. This confirmation process is the responsibility of the rental company and may take, on average, 40 to 60 days for domestic bookings and 50 to 70 days for international bookings. Once the rental company confirms, your cashback will be fully available for use on prepaid bookings on the site.
When your cashback is available in your digital wallet, you can use the credits for new eligible bookings in the Online Payment option with Rentcars. When selecting your new booking, the credit will be visible and available for application on the payment page. If the value of your booking exceeds the available credits, you will pay the remaining balance between the credit and the rental cost. If the value of your booking is lower, the remaining balance will return to your digital wallet for future use, respecting the original credit expiration date. When using Rentcars cashback as a payment method, coupons with non-cumulative rules cannot be applied — these discounts are not cumulative.
Your credits can be used within 18 months after they are made available, when the status changes to “Available” in your digital wallet.
Yes. If your booking is changed within the eligible conditions of the Rent Rewards programme, the credit will remain, but its value will be updated according to the new rates and the promotion’s discount rules. In cases of cancellation, no-show, or any other situations where the booking is not actually used or paid for, the cashback will also be cancelled.
